Words of encouragement and an offer of support!

Hello all! I know that you have all taken the first step of setting up a blog and hope that you continue to complete the rest of the 23 Things. I leave you in Deb's capable hands, but I will be watching your progress from afar and chiming in when I have something to say. I am happy to offer advice as well, on anything I presented at Training Day, or anything else really!

If you are on the fence about whether or not to continue with this, I would like to encourage you to stick with it. You may never blog or tweet or worry about your personal brand again, but you will know better what all these tools are for and how they can be used; and that can come in really handy in our line of work.

Best of luck as you work through all 23. I am expecting great Things.

  2. Thanks for the support. Am sitting in a cafe this evening with wi fi sending this from a phone just as an experiment!

  3. Sorry i accidentally sent the last comment twice. I thought the delete option would remove one comment totally but it seems to have just removed the content. Is there a way of removing the whole thing? Perhaps only administrators of blogs can do that?

  5. Hi Elizabeth - as an administrator I can permanently delete comments, but I'd be interested to see what your rights give you...go to your dashboard (design menu) and select "posts" from the left hand menu. You should then be able to delete/permanently delete your own messages.

  6. Hi Deb
I seem to be able to delete "posts" I have made to this blog, but I can't work out how to delete "comments" to "posts" that I've read from other people. Not sure where to look for "comments". Any thoughts?

  7. Elizabeth, this blog is all about experimentation so do try anything you think might work!

  8. My guess is that I can withdraw the content of a "comment" I've made on someone else's blog, but not the whole "comment" box.
